JC releases his 2022 holiday smash hit "Happy Holiday"
If you haven't heard about this holiday smash, you are missing out. Music extraordinaire and artist JC has done it again with his new release "Happy Holiday." JC's song is featured on Mr. Dallas Austin's holiday compilation. When asked what motivated the release, JC simply expressed, "It was time for a holiday jam for all ages."
The legendary Dallas Austin, asked JC if he had any Christmas records for his upcoming DAD Compilation (Dallas Austin Distribution). His answer was no, but he could do one that day! He decided to go non-traditional with a more commercial vs traditional feel.
JC spent the most time selecting a beat because he didn't want it to sound cliché. Once he found the right one, it was a wrap. The song just seemed to come naturally. He had a blast doing it too.
Lyrically, JC focused on all three major holidays to cover the entire Holiday Season: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve. A lot was done in a very tight window, so JC's excited about the outcome and plans to bring it back with some surprise features in the future! #HappyHoliday
